Our Brave Little Boy

On Tuesday Noah had a makeover!

It still breaks my heart because at this point he had no idea what was going to happen. We explained (on a 4 year old level) what was going to happen. When we were at the hospital we even tried to make a big deal about the red socks - his favorite color and the bed with wheels!

Now he's getting a little nervous.
I didn't even cry until he went around the corner.

Bryan and I started wondering if he was hearing us completely. We dismissed it for a while just thinking "he's a 4 year old boy, of course he's not going to listen to us." But you know that feeling you get when you know something's not right with your child? I think we both had it, so we made an appointment with the Doc. Sure enough, lots of fluid in his ears (he's never had an ear infection) and large tonsils and adenoids. WOW!!!! We have also had sleeping issues with him too....could those large tonsils and adenoids be waking him up at night??? It wasn't an easy decision to send our little boy to the operating room, but in the long run we are hoping this will help him in many different aspects.

I was thinking about you guys this week. I hope everything is going well with Noah's recovery. He looks so cute in his hospital gown.

Brave Noah! So did they take everything out then? Poor thing, he is so young, BUT I bet he will feel/sleep so much better! That is hard when they are so little though. I'm glad you guys were in tune with what was going on! Hope he recovers quickly.

We're so proud of you Noah for being such a brave boy. Next time you come to aunt jojo's house you can have all the popsicles you want...just to make-up for it. Mommy has no say! Love you.
